Another good day today. Kids really getting the hang of this now in both classes. Class B first in the morning, doing our if/else statements today. They picked it up really quickly and most had finished within half an hour - note to self must take more work than needed. I do usually let them have some "creative time" on Scratch themselves but think that we could have done lots more today. Still I let them look at the animations and see how they work as that is what im hoping to get them to do next. From their evaluations so far all the kids are really enjoying using Scratch in their lessons. In my Class A they are going to do the animation today a basic one which has two sprites saying hi to each other. The kids worked well on this and most had completed it before the end of the lesson. One or two extended their work to add in another undersea creature as well. Its great watching them when they have completed the task and they see their work in action, think it gives them a real sense of achievement :)
